InterGedi

The InterGedi research group of the Department of English and German Philology is organizing the InterGedi 2026 International Conference, which will take place from March 18 to 20 at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Zaragoza.

Within the framework of the research project “Processes of recontextualization in the transfer of knowledge: A pragmatic, linguistic and multimodal study of digital scientific discourse for dissemination purposes” (PID2021-122303NB-I00), the conference will provide a forum for international debate focused on the recontextualization processes involved in the transfer of expert knowledge through various digital platforms. In this context, a diversity of knowledge dissemination practices taking place within digitally mediated environments will be explored, taking into account different theoretical and methodological perspectives, such as corpus studies, gender analysis, pragmatic approaches, multimodality, ethnography, intercultural communication and contrastive approaches.
